Opera Blurgh

Opera Blurgh hero

A Tales from the Shed and National Opera Studio collaboration

Get ready for something truly operatic! Following some joyful try-out performances, Tales from the Shed is thrilled to bring you the first ever Tales opera – starring everyone’s favourite purple pal, Blurgh.

In a show filled with soaring vocals, big feelings, and plenty of silliness, Blurgh and friends take you on a musical journey through the wild world of opera – all packed into 50 magical minutes. Sung by professional singers from the National Opera Studio and filled with colourful chaos from your favourite Tales characters, this is opera as you’ve never seen it before.

So warm up those vocal cords and bring your little ones along for a unique family experience – loud, proud, and full of fun.
