From Monday morning, young imaginations take centre stage! Across the week of Summer Shed, children will dream up ideas, learn songs, create dances, and build an unforgettable performance - all ready to share with family and friends on Friday afternoon.

Who is Summer Shed for?

Designed for ages 5-11 and in school years 1-6 in Sept 2025, Summer Shed is bursting with energy, led by Chickenshed’s brilliant team of professional theatre-makers. Whether they love singing, dancing, acting, or just having fun, every child has a place here.

When

Summer Shed is runs over two separate weeks. Each week is different so you can book onto one or both weeks.

  • Week 1

    Monday 28 July – Friday 1 August

  • Week 2

    Monday 4 August – Friday 8 August

Pricing

Summer Shed is £200. Bookings are for the whole week. It is not possible to book for individual days. 

If you are booking for more than one child there is a 25% discount for any siblings.

Young company

Summer Shed participants will be guided by Chickenshed’s Youth Theatre Directors and our current Youth Theatre members!

Summer Scratch

Summer Scratch is a theatre project for 11-17 year olds who are interested in sharing and developing a passion for writing, performance, movement and music.
