Tales Big Day Out

A joyful, jam-packed afternoon for little ones and their grown-ups!

Join us for Big Day Out, a multi-room adventure filled with performance, play and creativity. With Tales from the Shed shows, themed workshops, face painting, and pop-up surprises around every corner – the whole building becomes your playground.

One ticket gives you access to every space – including the Rayne Theatre, Studio Theatre, Dance Studio, café and garden – each offering something unique, colourful and exciting for ages 0–7.

Expect music, movement, stories and magic – all delivered in Chickenshed’s signature inclusive style.

Places are limited – early booking is recommended.

Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor.

We've got you covered with baby changing, disabled access, space to park buggies and even a cafè to get a tasty treat!

Limited free parking is available in front of the building.
