Ashley is the Chief Executive Officer of Global Switch, a leading owner, operator and developer of large-scale network dense, carrier and cloud-neutral multi-tenanted data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Established in 1998, Global Switch has built a reputation for creating data centres that set new standards in scale, resilience and connectivity and is one of the world’s highest credit rated data centre providers, with investment grade ratings from Fitch, Moody’s and S&P Global Ratings.
Today, Global Switch’s portfolio comprises thirteen data centres owned by consolidated entities centrally located in Tier 1 cities across Europe and Asia-Pacific, offering a total of 428,000 sq m of world class technical space with further developments underway.
Ashley is committed to improving the lives of young people. As such, he has played a key role in helping Chickenshed to progress its fundraising strategy as part of the Development Board for many years, and since February 2019 as a Director and Trustee.
