Preparing For The Walk

The day started with a buzz as participants collected their goody bags, signed in, and got their faces painted with yellow footprints and sparkling 50's! Louise Perry kicked things off with an inspiring speech before joining us on the walk; and the Tales team kept spirits high, with Funky Monkey and Tiger cheering everyone on.

Walking Together

People came and conquered the 5K and 10K routes in style, the energy was electric, with our Wonder Walk playlist pumping which kept everyone motivated and lively. 

  • 5k Walk

    The 5k route went up through Cockfosters, into Trent park and back to Chickenshed, which was completed by so many of our amazing volunteers.

  • 10k Walk

    Some went the extra (three) miles..! and took part in the 10k route which took us around the borough through places such as Cockfosters Parade and Winchmore Hill.

Dream Team

Our volunteers were incredible, handing out drinks, medals, and stickers at the finish line, making sure everyone felt like a champion.

To date the below has been raised which will greatly benefit our children and young people at Chickenshed. £18,113
