Our theatre is for everyone. Everyone who comes through our door changes us in some way, and everyone who comes through our door is changed in some way. This year, our annual Christmas Show spectacular has been chosen by you! The very people who have helped us break the mould and shake things up over the last 50 years.


To help celebrate this incredible milestone, we’ve launched our Light Our Stars Appeal and would love for you to get involved! We’ve seen, lived and been inspired by the power of community and whether you donate £1 or £10,000 you will be helping us to bring the beauty of a Chickenshed performance to thousands of people this Christmas.

Sponsorship Levels

There are different levels of sponsorship, and everyone who donates to the appeal will feature in our Christmas Show programme this year*. So we can all see and celebrate the people that make it happen!  

Everyone that donates is invited to write a message of support on a printed star to anyone involved in Chickenshed.  The stars are available at Chickenshed and will form part of our Light Our Stars display in the Chickenshed café throughout November and December.  We invite you to write as many stars as you wish.

*Please note that donations received after 10th November will be thanked in the 2025 Show programme.

  • Curtains up sponsor | £1 - £99

  • Get the show on the road sponsor | £100 - £499

    - Your name on the rolling screen in the café & in the Christmas Show programme*

    - Two tickets to the show

  • Take a seat sponsor | £1,500 - £2,499

    - Your name on a seat in the Rayne Theatre for one year.
    - Four tickets to the show

    (There is a minimum donation of £1,500 per seat)

  • Take a bow sponsor | £2,500 - £4,999

    - Your name on the rolling screen in the café and in the Christmas Show programme*

    - A limited edition Light Our Stars t-shirt
    - Your name on a seat in the Rayne Theatre for two years
    - A private tour of the theatre and a meet & greet with some of the creative staff

  • In the spotlight sponsor | £5,000 - £9,999

    - Your name on the rolling screen in the café and in the Christmas Show programme*
    - Your message displayed in the Chickenshed Café Light Our Stars display
    - A limited edition Light Our Stars t-shirt
    - Your name on a seat in the Rayne Theatre for two years
    - A private tour of the theatre and a meet & greet with some of the creative staff
    - A half page advert in the programme
    - A box with hospitality for up to ten guests for one performance

    (There is a minimum donation of £1,500 per seat)

  • Showstopper sponsor | £10,000+

    - Your name on the rolling screen in the café and in the Christmas Show programme*
    - Your message displayed in the Chickenshed Café Light Our Stars display
    - A limited edition Light Our Stars t-shirt
    - Your name on a seat in the Rayne Theatre for two years
    - A private tour of the theatre and a meet & greet with some of the creative staff
    - A full page advert in the programme
    - An advert on the rolling screens in the café for the duration of the run
    - A box with hospitality for up to ten guests for two performances

    (There is a minimum donation of £1,500 per seat)
